I think that I'd startle a bit if I saw someone with a knife on mall or store. But I guess it's about cultural difference, no-one carries knife here on more public places or at least they shouldn't. I'm not fully sure but I assume that it's probably forbidden here in Finland.

From a legal stand point it will varry from state to state. Most have laws as to how long the blade can be and the type of knife. So there is no answer to your question as it will varry from state to state.

Past that most people will carry. I know I do but the one I carry fits with in the law of my state.

Not a big deal to me.. A lotof the guys. I used to ride with carried mashetti's? Sp? And larg knives when not on a horse

Its illegal in our state to have knives at school buteveryone does! And the teachers and attendant know. They just look the other way were asmall community most related or friends
