yes I live near Dayton Ohio and it was pretty bad here for a while. Thank God we seem to have escaped any major damage or bodily harm.

Horses are proof that God love's us and wants us to be happy!

I've been watching the damage on the news stations this morning, absolutely devastating.

I am in the Northern part of IN but if there are any forum members in the affected areas, I do have a handful of open stalls & pasture that I'd gladly offer up to displaced horses.

I was in Tuscaloosa when we get destroyed by the April tornadoes. Luckily the bad one stayed a few miles away and we just had some trees down, but Lord, I know the fear.
Waking up and seeing your town destroyed...there are no words.

The sirens went off last night for us in Montgomery and it brought back all of the fears again.

Hoping that everyone stayed safe. Sad, sad thing.

Checking in from Jefferson County here...where we lost nearly two towns and several people. Have been through plenty of storms warnings and even a small tornado since we've lived here but nothing like what hit us yesterday. Some very tense moment as myself husband and both kids were all in separate locations....my son is our youngest and was home alone until.my dear neighbor went and got him to be safe on their basement......just such a helpless feeling. We came through with no damage but friend and coworkers were not as lucky.....some live in Chelsea where they lost four by current info. Never been through his before and would rather not do it ever again.

That is so very generous of you, and I'm sure all will appreciate it - we seldom get tornados up here, but I can just imagine. We are in the middle of a massive snowstorm that began yesterday, and have over 22" (on top of the 9" we got the other day ), and it's still coming down hard...many are without power, but at least have a roof over their heads. Praying diligently for those of you down there in that devastation.

This is a good idea! I've got 3 stalls available, and passed that info along to some of the emergency personal working down there. I'm kinda far north too tho, just south (ish) of Bloomington, about 90 miles away...

You're much closer than I am Adam. I'm north of Lafayette. Even though I'm a few hours away, offer stands.

Such a sad situation. The town I live in was wiped out in the big outbreak in the 70s. The farm I live on stood, but neighbors less than a mile away weren't so lucky. My mom has a lot of photos, the devastation they can cause is unreal, I can't even begin to imagine what it's like first hand.
