Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!

OK. I'm really really bored so. I'm wanting to know what football teams you like and why. Which ones you don't like and why.

My Pro team are and why i like them:

1. Dallas Cowboys- Who don't like the Cowboys? I've always been a fan of the cowboys. Football in general. But this team just blows me away. Jason Witten i think is the best receiver on our team. Also Miles Austin is great to. Tony Romo.........ERRR he's good. I don't think he'll take use to a super bowl but he good. The other two Back up QB's are really good to. Barber iffy. He can be good at times but ya. There are others on this team that are my fav but way to many to even mention. That team is but built like my dream horse. PERFECT.
&
2. New England Patriots- Patriots. Well the first reason why i started watching them is because they played in the snow. i know thats really not a reason to like a team but that was mine. But i'm starting to see why i really like them. There QB is a Great Quarterback. Tom Brady has the perfect throws most of the time and he gets the balls squeezed into a really tight opening and hes very accurate.

My collage football teams are. Sorry did i say teams. Oops. I ment team. Oh wait i lied again. i ment teams.

1.Arkansas Razorback!- My Hogs. I just drool over then. There (like i said about the Cowboys.) built like the dream horse I've always wanted. Perfect. I just can't believe how lucky we got to have these players on our team. Ryan Mallet our QB is amazing. He has great accurate to his players and does great in the pocket. Williams i'm very happy to have. He has had a very bad childhood and came out of it to become what he's always wanted to do play football. I could write a 1,000 word essay and even more on them. But i'll cut this short.
&
2. Texas Long Horns - Can't say why yet. Haven't watched them this year.

So tell me who your Pro and collage football teams are and who you dislike. And be mean about it. i want yal to talk Cr*p about the other teams. Be mean. RRRRRRRRRR.

Oh ya my teams i dislike. Well
Pro:
Redskins there the only ones i HATE!!!
Collage:
Florida Gators. I just wish they would fall of the planet earth!

And i have to say Ohio State. Yal S*ck. We would have beat you into a pulp at the Sugar Bowl. But the refs weren't calling penalty's like they should have been. And i don't just mean one team but on both the teams.

Also Alabama and Alburn. If you watch the games when the Hogs where playing yal. These games weren't called right. The refs where for yal.

I typed a big response to this...but then my computer acted up and I lost my post. So my favorite pro team(always has been, always will be)is the Green Bay Packers. In my other post, I went really in depth of why I like them and how the team is well put together...but now I'll just say that I love love love love love them. <3

And I love football. Not so much college football because we usually don't get those games on our tv since we have like 5 channels.

To see the wind's power, the rain's cleansing, and the sun's radiant life, one need only to look at the horse.

YOu need to be a bit more specific your question realy should be "who likes american football". This is an international board and over here football means the same as soccer over in the US (i.e. a bunch of overpaid neanderthals practicing amature dramatics on a pitch and carrying on like 2 yearold children because they maybe, possibly even might have got a teny, tiny, ittybitty bruise from that tackle that didnt even come within a mile of touching them! and because of this bruise they can't possibly carry on, best shoot them and put them out of thier misery!).

TBH I cant stand football (of the soccer variety for you americans, could you tell?) and am firmly of the belief that american football is rugby for wimps but american football is infinately more entertaining to watch then soccer is! do away with the big pads and silly helmets and it may even get interesting!!

RUGBY is the only decent game out there!

Well by the teams i picked that has to tell people that this is american football not soccer. I don't think soccer has a Dallas Cowboys team. And since Arkansas has a soccer team everyone should now that a QB doesn't play soccer. RUGBY is not the only decent game out there. Not even close. Me i could careless about it. they just took to good sports and made it. Football + Soccer = Rugby. It's a wannabe sport. And there more likely to get killed. No pads stupid idea. And 40 people died back then in ONE DAY! Awhile back when they didn't play with helmets and pads. Like i said a WANNABE sport and never Will they be over American football NEVER!

erm rugby came well before american football. the roots of american football lie in the early versions of rugby and football combined so yeh, american foot ball took 2 games and turned them into a disjointed game which has no flow and where people seem to take a brake every 20 seconds.

40 people in a day dead? god only knows where you are getting your information from but it is blatently wrong. Deaths on the rugby pitch? well I've never heard of one, cracked skulls, broken necks, ruptured internal organs yes, but it wouldnt be rugby without those risks and the players themselves threw in massive protests when small amounts of padding where allowed in the experimental rule variations!

Pads are for wusses.

BTW there is a reason rugby is played all over the world on a very large scale but american football is pretty much stuck in america for anything other then kids at uni playing it!

I am a huge football fan and an avid fantasy football player.

I am from pittsburgh so the Steelers are my team. Football isn't just a sport here, it is an obsession. Players are treated like celebrities. I love all sorts of football.

While I am a Pittsburgh fan, I watch almost every game played in the NFL. Right now I am watching the KC/Balt game to see who the Steelers will beat in the AFC championship game.

I dislike the Patriots and the Cowboys pretty badly. Me and Sandy2U have an ongoing banter about 'her' cowboys...*laugh*

As far as college goes, I am not a big college football watcher. My best friends are OSU Alum and huge fans. My husband is a big Penn State fan. I don't have a team that I follow exclusively but I do watch.

As far as the other bickering going on in this thread, let it go. You like Soccer and Rugby, they aren't prevalent here. Soccer in the US is popular among young children and College players. They have tried, unsuccessfully to integrate soccer into our games. It hasn't worked well. I think soccer is an amazing game. Total cardio workout. I respect Rugby, I really do. I understand that it is a tough game and that they are viewed as 'manly' because they don't wear pads. Good for them. I also know that, in the US it is a college game. If there is a pro team here, I don't know about it. Which is funny because "us americans" are all about the violence of games.

There must be a Rugby pro team in america, you certainly managed to field an international standard team for the last rugby world cup! admittedly they didnt do very well but to get there at all is an achievement and the draw for which first round group they were in didnt help (3 TOP teams also in their group!)

American football over here is a uni game that isnt realy played all that much. Certainly not all uni's have a team.
