Are you a sneaky peaker??

HAHAHA so as you all remember, I had that post about what to get my boyfriend for christmas and the scrapbook idea came up....well, I didn't have time for that so I got him a new watch since his other one I got for xmas 3 years ago and it's pretty beat up.

Well.......................i am a very sneaky peaker!!! I guess there's no proposal coming this christmas (ugh) but it's cute none the less. I was moving stuff around in the truck to make room for someone and pushed the blanket we had in there(had to go to the cleaners) over and felt something hard and arched like wood. I remembered he said something about finding the rocking horse I wanted (that were sold out this year and we couldnt afford it last year) at costco. In my head I thought it was the one that was just a decoration, but no its the fuzzy one for little kids that neighs and shakes its head lol. Either way, I wanted one for our future kids someday, but didn't know if we would ever be able to find one, well he did lol. Oh so he put it in the spare bathroom wrapped in the blanket and said don't go in there. But since the moment I felt it, I knew it was a rocking horse lol, sooooo I was very naughty and peaked under the blanket. Hahhaa it's so cute, I pinched its ear and it made me giggle. I figured it wasn't bad of me since I kind of knew what it was on accident anyways. He doesnt know I know.

Anyone else ever sneak a peak or try to figure it out? I am notorious for trying to guess my surprises lol

Well, im 22 and he's 31. We've been together for 5 1/2 years. We've been talking about a proposal for almost 3 now, but it never seems to happen. I was kind of expecting it this christmas, but it doesn't look like it :). I know he's paying on a ring, but I don't know what it looks like or when its' coming.

I know im so bad!! Lol I couldnt' help it though, but it's ok I kind of already knew because I felt it lol

Cradle robber! so my question is this, what kind of ring(s) have you picked? Let's see some pics. You might want to actually go to the girl chatting section, a thread about that there :)

I don't have to be a sneaky peaker, I normally know everything I'm getting before it's under the tree.

I'm a very good girl, and have never peaked, even when I was young(er?) and knew excatly where they were (my mom always "hid" them in her closet, but she even told us to stay out since our presents were there)
Even this year mine were in the living room, my mom just said "your present is there, so don't walk or look there"

She obviously trusts you I think when I was younger once I went and looked. I probably would have been around 12? ;) haven't done it since

Haha this is bad but, my mom has presents under the tree at her house and there's like 4 for me and I just had to know what some were so I slid my finger under the tape and unwrapped one end of the wrapping paper of 2 gifts and I'm getting a new watch and a book. Haha. I don't like to know all my presents though because then there is no surprise on Christmas day. I have no patience to wait til Christmas though if I see presents for me a week early. But my dad hasn't put any presents out yet, he usually does it all on Christmas morning before we wake up.
I do think this holiday is getting a little too commercialized though, everyone stresses to get gifts and stuff.. that's not the point of Christmas. My sister came home last night as a surprise (she's been living in England for 3 months) and my mom is stressing about how she doesnt have any gifts for my sister to open and stuff. But no one knew she was coming home, except my dad. It was so exciting when we saw her though.

Usually I have a main present, and know what it is, and little ones where I don't. This year I have several medium-sized presents, and the only one I know about is a new phone (nothing flashy, it was all of 15 :P) because I was going to get that myself and my dad bought it for me instead.

I get to open one present tonight, but I will be having a good feel :)

I opened every single present I had under the tree when I was about 10-12. Mom never knew I was sneeking a peak until Christmas morning when I wasn't surprized at any of the gifts. I ruined it for HER and me.....I've never sneaked since......Well....Wait.....One more time, It was my engagement ring. My hubby had it in his brief case, I guessed the combo, ( My b-day) and saw the ring....I never let him know that I knew...but my heart sank a little...I spoiled my own surprize.....I haven't sneeked since then. I've been completely reformed since 1993.
