My grandma is amazing with a needle or a machine, I think I just don't really have the patience to hand-sew things and machines scare me hahaha.

I did modify a jacket once to be my in-hand jacket by sewing some ribbon onto it in a few places, it looked quite nice, but my grandma would have done a much better job haha...

Sewing takes a LOT of practice! Hand and machine sewing alike, but I understand being a bit afraid of the machines, my mom's industrial machine is AMAZING but freaks me out a bit too haha. She does mostly upholstry and that thing sews through leather like butter.

I only recently learned to accept my nerdy side . I would love to cosplay, and my mom actually does sew a little bit and would help me with my costumes, but I don't have the time/money to do much with it right now. Not that I even know what I would cosplay as...I'm big into video games and anime, but there are so many characters that I could go as.

Anyways, my sister would cosplay as Alice in Wonderland characters, and would go to A-Fest with her friends (though she despises anime ). She also is a fan of Doctor Who, and I think she dressed up as either the Doctor or the Tardis. My brother would also like to cosplay. He wants to make a Link costume and samurai armor right now out of recycled materials. Pretty cool.

    Do you watch Hellsing?

I want to cosplay as a genderbent Alucard but getting the jacket would be difficult!

Nope, I don't watch Hellsing. I've only began watching anime again about a year ago, and haven't really gotten into the older animes at this point.

For video games, I really want to cosplay as Zelda (maybe Hilda too from A Link Between Worlds), but that is done a lot, so I would need to figure out how to make it my own. I also thought of being a Pokemon trainer (kind of childish, but fun), a humanoid version of Amaterasu from Okami, or a Final Fantasy character (there are a lot of them, so I can't list them all). My two favorite animes (Fairy Tail and Sword Art Online) have some great cosplay opportunities too.

    Hellsing is great though :3

SAO is fantastic, I've seen a few episodes of Fairy Tail and enjoyed it but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. I don't think I've seen enough to know really.

Fairy Tail is more my thing than SAO (though both are great in their own way). It's fun and light-hearted, which I tend to prefer over more serious shows. I might check out Hellsing eventually, but I want to get caught up in Fairy Tail before searching for some new anime.

If you like fun and light-hearted then maybe Hellsing isn't your thing haha... but it has its fun and light-hearted moments [Seras goes full chibi several times :P AND SERAS AND PIP MEETING oh god I can't even] so I don't know.

I've been trying to get caught up on Angel Beats but there are only so many feels a girl can handle lol!

Haha, yeah, probably. Still, I'm trying to watch a variety. I can only handle so much of one thing at a time .
