Any dancer's out there???

Hi there!
Well, just thought I'd share with you my OTHER hobby (aside from horse riding, of course!) - dancing!
I was wondering if there's anyone else out there that have the dancing bug and would LOVE it if you'll share your stories/photos/videos etc.

I've been dancing for almost two years now, in three categories - Modern, Contemporary and Hip Hop (just for fun!).
Here's a video of our last rehearsal before my first ever dance concert (2008 concert). I've moved up to the advanced classes now, but these were a good bunch of girls.


Aaaand a little photo of us before the concert (I'm third from the right! ) - don't mind the costumes! It was contemporary, so they're always going to be a classic! Hahahah There's also photos of me in a LILAC leotard, but as IF they're coming out! I'll take them to the grave!

Hope all those dancer's out there (you know who you are! ) could show themselves and share with me!

I'm not really a dancer but my finance and I are learning a tango to do at our wedding. It's been really fun.

Oh, Oh!! I Belly Dance!! I've been dancing for three years. It's awesome and great exercise!!!

I used to dance :)
I did some ballet and some jazz, I do love to dance but I find myself now to self consious to do it sometimes, so if I dance anywhere it is in my ROOM ! LOL
I was hoping to do hiphop again last year though :) and if I were lucky belly dancing !

I used to do ballet, jazz and contemporary but I stopped last year. I miss it a bit, but I've just got too much on my plate with horses. I'll have to track down the video of my contemporary solo, I loved that dance. I did it to 'Waiting on The World to Change' by John Mayer.
Ha, I've danced in some funny costumes. I've been in a flight attendant one, a sparkly blue leotard, a mouse one.
I think I will take up dancing again when I get the time.

At the moment I can't afford any lessons but I danced Hip Hop and have been dancing since I was 5. I quit last year. I really want to have lessons again :'(
I would love to learn how to dance contemporary, but I'm super unflexable.

Here's a video of my last show. It went horribly xD 2 groups were put together so there were way too many of us on stage and I was extremely stiff and my back hurt, so I didn't do my best at all! Lol...
(the quality is crap and my mom isn't very good at filming. Haha)

I did ballet when I was a little girl like 5 or so but the tutu scared me and the fabric gave me a rash, the hairspray for performances made my eyes swell shut and I was just very unhappy and I was ridiculed because I couldn't do the splits. Then I took jazz which was fun until the teacher got preggers and canceled all classes. Skip up to the early teens I took swing, modern dance, ballroom and a little contemporary. And now I'm a pole dance fitness instructor. I like this one the best, I've always been big on climbing things and hanging upside down. My friends say I'm a monkey.

I have always wanted to do that! Ever since I went to Marrakesh in Disney World when I was a kid. They don't have it where I am located but both the towns my husband is applying to law school in have belly dance instructors, so I hope to start next year or the year after.

Last year I used to ukrainian dance, yes ukrainian dance lol, I miss it a bit but I quit because lots of the ppl in our group were leaving so there was only my two friends left over. Its kinda hard to dance when there is only three ppl in a group lol instead of eight. We could have done trio dances tho. I've gone to competition too.
