Hey!

I do knit occasionally but have to admit that I'm not that good in it . The last thing I knitted was a scarf for my man for Christmas. Then I've made some socks but would need more efficient instructions for that... my socks usually end up to seem a bit funny.

I'm a wee little bit older... *cough cough*
But I still act like I'm 20, does that count?

I knit and crochet, and am currently learning to spin yarn (If I can get my hands on a spinning wheel that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg, since most of my money goes to tuition). I'm actually in the process of washing a load of soft wolf underfur to spin up into yarn!

If you would like, I think I have some links on this pc to places to buy less expensive spinning wheels that I could send you. I got mine from a farm in NY, that gets them from NZ. All wood and quality but only around $300 if I remember correctly.
There are other places that sell them with PVC frames that really helps reduce the cost.
Anyway, PM me if you want and I'll see if I can dig up those links.

I knit, but I've never tried crochet. I'd like to, it's just one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet.

I'm currently finishing up a multicolored scarf, not sure what I'll do next... probably a hat or a pair of mittens.

Autumnheart - what's your Etsy store? Mine is Songsparrow Design, but I don't have anything listed at the moment.

I haven't quite hit 30 yet so that counts...right? I'm amazed that you weave. I inherited a very nice loom from my great aunt but don't have the slightest idea how to use it. I live in a small town and haven't found anyone who can teach me

I do knit however. Mostly hats. It started 2 years ago when my premie son was born. It was a way to pass the time in the NICU and at home while he slept (a lot). He has more hats than one boy knows what to do with. I've done a couple of scarfs, pumpkin hats, and washcloths. I'm addicted to buying yarn. Makes hubby a little crazy :)
