I am also a knitter! I have been meaning to knit the saddle blanket from the book greetings from knit cafe. Has anyone made it?! I would love to see pictures of you have!

I just recently taught myself to crochet. I've been knitting for a while, but I think crochet is much easier. :)

I taught myself how to knit last summer! I love it! Sometimes I lose motivation and hardly ever finish anything but it's certainly a great boredom buster and the finished projects make awesome gifts! I have yet to make anything for myself actually lol

I crochet. I learned from my great-grandma. I'm an impatient type, and I like that you can go fast and make a whole blanket. My last couple of projects have been big fluffy scarfs with nice soft yarn for winter. I'm making a purple one now.

I haven't knitted anything much in a few years. Several unfinished projects around!

At the moment I am caring for my ancient Mother who cannot be left alone so have started with the needles again.
I am making a cable sweater for my eldest niece. The pattern is one where the sweater is knitted all in one and the pattern is horizontal rather than vertical. If I have undone the neck once I have undone it a dozen times. It has to be exactly right or, when I pick up the stitches from the other side, the pattern is incorrect.
    I will get it right!

I would love to knit a big blanket for winter. Anyone know of any good blanket patterns?
