Me, me, me!
I only buy in hardcopy though as I am a sucker for the smell and feel of a brand new book in my hands - hence my reading is limited by my funds!
I love fantasy, and the longer and more comples the series, the better. My two favourite series at the moment are The Raven books (8) by James Barclay, and the series comprising of the Battleaxe books (3) The Wayfarer Redemption (3) Threshold (1) Beyond the Hanging Wall (1) and the Elcho Falling books (3) by Sarah Douglass, an Australian author.
I am also a huge Harry Potter fan and have read the books about 8 times, each.
Love Australian fiction, especially Tony Parsons and Rachel Treasure.
Lesser known fantasy authors like Fiona Macintosh and Celia Friedman.
Love anything by Bryce Courtenay, Tandia is my favourite. I want to go to South Africa so badly because of his books. The Four Fires is also a good one.
Love a good epic - The Emancipist is a huge book that follows the life of one man from ireland in the famine to Australia as a convict to then becoming one of the richest and largest landowners in NSW. Anything by Joy Chambers as well, especially love Mayfield and Vale Valhalla.
One of my all time favourite books is Mallawindy by Joy Dettman - Amazing, in depth, emotionally wrenching book about a young girl who was abused by her dad and witnessed an event with her sister that cuased her to become mute, and follows her through to adulthood and the final resolution of the issues with her father. The twist in this book is amazing and harrowing.
Also loved and cried in the book A Boy Called It.
Ah I could go on all day...
