I went to a movie on Sunday and there happened to be a big sale on in Borders... I managed to restrain myself to only one book, The Persimmon Tree by Bryce Courtenay, can't wait to sink my teeth into it :]

Oh, yeah. Whenever I have time, I read. I especially love Stephen King. He is like my fave author of all time. I am currently working on his 'Dark Tower' series (7 books and all of them are over 500 pages). For some reason, I really like his super long novels; It, Insomnia, Dreamcatcher, etc, etc..... I am also a huge Jeffrey Deaver fan. I also love the Earth's Children series by Jean Auel (sp?). I am a sucker for the big books because I get started and don't want to stop. If I have nothing else to do, I can do 1,100 pages in a day. I am considering getting into the Harry Potter books. When the movies first started coming out, I thought they were stupid but I have recently started watching them and gotten more interested. I may just get them from the library instead of buying them until I can find out whether I like them and will want to read them again or not.

2 books that absolutely everyone needs to read are "A child called it" and "The lost boy" by Dave Pelzer. They are true stories written by the guy that it happened to. It will make you sick and furious and heartbroken but it is also an incredibly inspirational story.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

^ You HAVE to read Harry potter - there is so much detail and heart and soul missing from the movies! I'm such a big HP nerd. I'm that annoying person who sits there watching going 'That's not right!' 'He never said that!' 'That's not how it happened!' 'Why did they skip ....???'. Lol.

And yep, A Boy Called It is heartwrenching.

*Smiles sheepishly* I do that too. Lol. I probably made everyone so mad sitting there during the 6th movie just criticizing it. "WHAT?! Harry and Ginny don't hook up until the end!...WHY IS THE BURROW ON FIRE?! THAT NEVER HAPPENED!..."

OMG! The Burrow made me SOOO mad!!!1 And HP are the best books EVER written!!!

Tango, I'm only on the begining of Catching Fire right now, but man they are SO good. I HATE HATE HATE Peeta though. If he would go die in a fire pit, I'd be ok with that. I like Gale SO MUCH BETTER!

I read a boy called it. That was very interesting and bothersome. I also read one about a little girl that was stolen in the night. They have it at walmart, it shows her in a dress holding a locket.

I KNOW eh? Everyone's like: "Oh, but Peeta's so nice to her and he loves her." Yeah, well so does Gale. And at least Gale can take care of himself and doesn't need Katniss to hunt for and feed him. Gale's so awesome.

And in my mind Gale is WAYY hotter :) and it seems like he cares about her alot more than Peeta does... he's so ready to run away with her (that's the part I'm at in the second book), and Peeta's all.... eh. I WANT A MOVIE! OMG that would be amazing......
