Books are one of my favorite things in the world. I've always had a longing to be an author, even though I'm no good. I can eat away a book at amazing speeds too; I finished a 400 page book in about four or five hours, including lunch breaks.

Not as fast as some, but I consider it pretty good.
As far as particular books I like, I have a few. I can't casually like books. I have a very obsessive personality. I will find a series (it rarely happens with singular books) and read and think over it constantly.
Below are particular series I've been obsessed with over the recent months:
Percy Jackson: I adore these books for the rich world they create. I've always like mythology, and setting that up in a modern era made this series irresistible.
Harry Potter: It's been a while, but I liked these books for the characters. Great characters and LOTS of them to love.
Artemis Fowl: This is my current love. I like these for the actiony plot and also for the characters. The world set-up isn't as attractive to me as Percy Jackson, but I'm learning to love.
^^ Funny thing is that I don't consider myself a fantasy fan, yet all these books are fantasy.
Gone with the Wind: The only book not in a series that I'm in love with. I fell for these because of the character development. Scarlett, for better or for worse, changed a lot throughout the book. I was very interesting to contrast her in the beginning with who she became at the end. Also, Melanie is my great. I wish all my friends were like her.

Scarlett had no idea what she had until it was too late!
Black Beauty: The only horse book I really love. Classic and near perfect, simple as that.
And there is so, so much more I'm too tired to type...

Now, for a critical question. I have literally lost sleep over this thought and am wondering opinions.
Annabeth and Percy
versus Holly and Artemis
versus Ginny and Harry.
Who would win in a fight? (Magic and weapons permitted.)
