Any Quilters?

Anyone like to quilt? Have any horse themed patterns they like? I have a few. I enjoy quilting and I am always on the watch for anything with an equine theme. I have some donkey patterns too, which are even harder to come across. I have been having fun, sewing and gifting horse themed pillowcases. They also make great prizes at clinics and horse camps. You can find some great horse fabrics!

I have a quilt im working on..... (its sitting folded up in a corner collecting dust) i've been trying to get up the courage to unfold it, put the squares in their rightful place and start sewing. It really big and I guess i'm lazy. Its made out of old blue jeans (5 inch squares) and I just sticky ironed on horses cut out of colored fabric. There is light and dark blue and the seams are sticking up so it looks raggedy. The backing is horse themed flannel. Hmm.... I think I might start working on it tomorrow...... hopefully.

Here's one I did a couple of years ago. I designed the animals myself. I made the squares out of fabric, felt and embroidry floss. My MIL assembled it for me, since she is extremely good at it, while I am a disaster on a sewing machine.

I used to quilt and right now have two completed tops and a third almost completed. I haven't touched them in years and am hoping after the new year to get my craft room set up and start quilting again. It is so much fun!
