My family is going to get dive certified.. I'm really scared to try it though so I told them they can dive and I'll go ride

NASDS is no longer an agency. All of the big certs are pretting much accepted worldwide. I like NAUI, personally. BUT, I suggest you visit any school you are considering and meet with the instructors. Pick the instructor you get along with the best. There isn't that much difference in content, anymore. Pick the attitude you like, as many instructors have very different approaches.

Diving is very easy and relaxing. Once you allow yourself to look around at all the beauty, you will forget to be afraid.

I've never been diving, it's on the bucket list though. I've snorkeled/snuba several times, my favorite so far has been Belize, it was beautiful!

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.
