Archery?

Ha ha ok, Drum :) I've shot compounds lots but they don't feel the same as a recuve and are just different. I may get into hunting here this year, since I only do target shooting right now with the bow. But im up for a challenge of a recuve and deer hunting.

Use to shoot a long bow when I was 8 to 12 (before I grew), out grew my bow and couldn't afford to buy another. Did go to a couple competitions in Scouts but there wasn't an age division for me, so didn't place. I did shoot my dad's compound bow but I kept hurting my arm, plus it was to heavy for me after I injured my shoulder when I got slammed into playing lacrosse. Lots of fun, I was better at it than my brother and he hated it, his little sister can't possible be good. Never used a recurve bow before though.

Im a die hard. I bowhunt (and have been bow only for 3 years now) and do 3-D shoots. My two hobbies are horses and bowhunting. So I would say im big into archery.

My wife has the same bow. And loves it. But some advise for you. Switch that rest, Go to a real whisker biscuit. That should help you out alot.

I've tweaked it a little since, added a stabilizer and a few other little things. I haven't tried a new rest because I haven't had any problems with that one, it's very similar to a whisker biscuit though. I will say, I started with a regular set of arrows, just cut to my length and was a good shot with those but then I went and had custom carbon fiber arrows made and it's a HUGE difference for me. I want to shoot the mechanical broadheads but they're too heavy and I'm not as consistent with those. I destroy our targets with my fixed blades so that sucks.

I just got into it! I don't have my own bow, but I'm taking lessons and using their bows. I'm not really good lol, but it's just so fun...

Those rest I have never had any luck with, I don't know why. If your looking for arrows there are some pink ones carbon express makes my wife loves them.

I had six made a few months ago..I still have four that I haven't even used once.. I forgot what kind they are, I'll look when I get home.

Drum you got some nice stuff on your bow! Do the Whisker Biscuits mess up the fletching over time, cause I heard they do if its the plastic fetching. And yall and Drum are making me feel so old school and basic with my recuve! But I would love to out shoot a compound ;)

Dont feed old im 25 and just starting recurve. I look up to people who can shoot a recurve it is 100 time harder.
