Astronomy Anyone

Is there anyone here who loves to look at the Stars. On top of my horses I teach Astronomy and love to look at the Stars. Was just wondering if anyone else liked it?

I am not into Astronomy though I usually do like to see stars at night time in an open sky (Mostly in summer as in winter you can't even see a moon let alone stars)

Some of the best sights are in the winter. The Moon is always gone once a month.

I watched the meteor showers that just happened .

I used to love it, I have a really nice telescope that hasn't been out of its case in years. I really need to get back at it
I used to know many of the constellations but have forgotten them now

I'm pretty lucky too, the sky is often clear and dark for a long time in the winter and I don't have to drive for long to not have any light pollution.
I got a telescope for christmas a couple of years back, and we found out how it worked this year :roll: But I haven't used it yet (mainly because when I found out how it worked I was a) super busy b) light all day long)
