    Editing Video!

Hello all :) One of my hobbies is editing video. I used to have around 5 cool videos of my horses, but sadly I deleted the wrong google account attached to my youtube. But, I just started up a new channel to begin editing again, and so I have something to do over summer.

Here is my first completed video project of the year, of a poem called "To Santa Claus and Little Sisters". It is a poem that was written in the 1960's by a boy who 2 years later committed suicide.

    The programs I used:
    Windows Movie Maker
    Free Video to Mp3 Converter

I started out by importing the original video into the Mp3 converter to rip the audio off of it. I then put the video into Windows Movie Maker, muted the volume on the original video and put the audio back into it. This allowed me to replace the original video with new clips to demonstrate what is happening in the video. After approximately 3 hours of clipping, deleting, and moving video around, I was to the point of having the audio line up with the clips in the finished product. I then exported the video out, and re-imported it into Windows Movie Maker. From there I re-cut all of the clips into little segments so I could add subtitles to the video. Finally, I added the song "Broken Hearts" by Michael Ortega for a bit of background noise and to distract from the fuzziness of the audio.

    Enjoy :)

    - On a sidenote, the blood in the video is not real
