Wow. You guys are all amazing. I like to believe I'm at least an amateur, but I know that isn't happening. Wandering off somewhere away from everything to take photos is just a good way for me to relax. My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1.

The links are larger photos from the North Island In-Hand (sorry they're so big, but I don't have any editing programs at the moment). I usually try and get to some shows at Claudelands, which is easy to get to.

    P&R Colida's Prince
    Bunderra Lee BA
    Aspen Hills Shell Fire
    Fenton Hills Magician
    Rubin James

And I actually got to KCHOY this year, for Saturday and Sunday. Going to try and go for all six days next time.

Charlott Bayliss and All Black II.

    Maurice Beatson and Zibbibo.

I think I've already replied that topic but could update a bit.

I took these two today. It's from one of main roads here. I just noticed that lonely children's rubber boot lying there when I drove that road few days ago and went back to take few pictures today. It just started to intrigue me, why that lonely rubber boot is there, lying almost on the road? I even started to think if there has been an accident there, if some child has run on the road and became hit by car and his/her boot has left there? I still think that's a way too dramatic, it'd have been on news and I've heard nothing. The more probable reason is that someone has dumped it out of a car or something. Anyways, it inspired me to take some pictures in which I tried to capture some dramatics .

Sorry for the quality. HF cut it kinda much.

    Thanks!
They were actually taken from the Denver Aquarium and through glass, so I was surprised how well they turned out, and to think I was using my old 4.3mp at the time! I need to get back up there with my Kodak!

I also have some new photos, so I will try and post them tomorrow when I get time. =)

I use a d90 and prefer hand held Night shots. Being able to hold a camera still so long to get the perfect exposure is an art in it's self. Few Examples..
    Regular

These 2 pulled in light from a pole over 100m away to illuminate, and even then most of the light is from the moon. (shot in the very back, darkest part of the cabelas parking lot.

The light above the car is across the road back a good ways, the light has the same multiplying effect the moon does.
