Full Moon and Meteor Shower

Tonight is the largest Full Moon of the year. It is also the brightest. The Moon is at its closes distance to Earth. So get out there and look. Second tomorrow night is a Meteor Shower. You should be able to see 20 to 30 an hour depending on your light pollution. Because of the full moon we will not see the normal rate per hour of 100+.

It would be very interesting to see a meteor shower or at least this full moon. I'm still afraid of it that I won't see them because I'm located in other side of the world. Or almost the other side.

The moon is beautiful!

Unfortunately, living in NY, the light pollution is horrible. I hope I still get to see the shower.

We live in Switzerland and tonight the moon was magnificent. A perfectly clear sky and the moon lit up the snow as if it were day time. I was up at 4AM just taking it all in. Well worth the viewing.

I took a trip outdoors last night. The moon was huge and bright. We had some snow a few days ago but its all gone now so no sparkly white to add to the beauty. I could just imagine what it was like QtrHorse.
