My current hobby is...Vacuuming! At least it's productive and my mom loves it!

Maybe you should take it up!

Do you like to play around in the kitchen? Something I love to do is experiment with homemade pet and horse treats. It's not expensive and the possibilities are endless! You mentioned you like writing- have you ever thought about putting out a book for kids/young adults about proper horsemanship or how not to be nervous at horse shows? Something else that could be cool to do when you get another camera would be to take photos at local horse shows and turn them into a coffee table book- it would probably sell well in your community, everyone wanting to see their pictures in print! :)

Scrap booking is a lot of fun too. Writing little notes, sticking down cutouts and stickers.

I have a ton of hobbies - too many I think! I'll share what I do in my free time, maybe it would give you some ideas.

Reading, writing, cross-stitching, model horse customizing (painting and re-sculpting) and making model tack. Making other stuff: greeting cards, scrapbook pages, jewelry, dreamcatchers... Gardening - inside and out (houseplants and an actual outside garden) In the past I've done fantasy horse racing too. I also like computer games.

All of that is on top of my (real) horses - whew! :)

Since you like writing, you should definitely do some journaling and look into blogging. :)

Do you perhaps own any dogs? If you do, get them involved in agility training. Besides horse riding, agility is one of my biggest loves, and my dogs love it too. It gives them excercise, you as the handler also get some excercise, and it teaches them to focus... In short, its great fun :)
