I usually take on at least one crocheting project each year (typically an afghan)

Last year I made a baby blanket (new niece) then made a bunch of scarfs.

I think I want to try my hand at knitting so I will probably make scarfs again!!! LOL

I also paint ornaments for family members. I have done both glass and dough ornaments.

I believe we are going to have a "cowboy" christmas tree this year. So that means that we are using a hat as a topper and I have enlisted all the kids and hubby to find "cool and interesting" stuff to put in and on the tree. It can be anything from pinecones to a cool plant. It's our "together" project this year. We'll paint some stuff (we have small gords that we are drying to use) and then we may spray paint some of the plans, like milkweed'll take a picture and let ya know how it goes!!!
