Well, most days im not sure how we pull it off. I am a bartender and my husband owns his own small landscaping business. We have two small children, David 3 and Aaralyn 1. We have bills just like any other family but somehow we manage. When I added a horse to the mix, it took a while to fit that into our budget. I had to pick up an extra day at work. More than money, it is hard to budget my time. I spend all afternoon with my kids and I used to spend every evening with my husband. Now that I have Nico, poor bobby has to take his seat on the backburner 2 nights a week. As a Mom, I always feel guilty about doing things for myself but I know that is important to my sanity that I continue riding. I went 6 years inbetween horses and hated every minute of it. I couldnt imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't married such a patient man!

Like others have said, sacrifice and prioritize.

Do not have internet or cable at home, do not go out to eat, do not go out to the movies, do not buy new fancy fashionable clothes, etc.
