How many do YOU have??

I am amazed by myself.... I just can't believe I could have taken this many photographs for only this year of 2013....
Anyone take a guess???
For just this year of photographs, I have
folders: 157
and photographs...... 12,164 photos for only this 2013 year... I am completely shocked..

After seeing that many photographs for only this year - I was almost scared to look at my OLD photos from 2012 and behind... But I did and amazed myself even more..
folders: 162
and photographs...
19,327 photographs...

This does not include my deleted photographs and lost folders. But on a disk I have some photographs as well about my cat. Now, knowing me and knowing me taking photographs of my cat - I know I have at least 400 photographs on that disk....

So with 31,891 photographs altogether, I think I have completed that quote from Henri Cartier-Bresson, "Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst."

But I am just curious as to how many all of you guys have - whether it is altogether or for just this year, I am VERY curious to know. Some of you may have way more, some of you may have way less. But I am very curious. You don't have to state your folders if you don't want to either.

O.o that`s a lot. Alothough I`m sure I`m getting right up there, too. I am going to LA in six days, so I`m sure I`ll take a lot there ...

You know what, I have no doubt in mind I have at least that many if not more. Over the years I've organized all my photos and actual paid work in such that I don't overload my computers. I absolutely love photography.

All my photos from 2012 and behind were all scattered and in random folders. But for 2013 I have folders for specific things so it is more organised and I know exactly were you find a photo if I need it.

I'm going to say most likely at LEAST double that. I have (7) 16 gb(?) cards full & at least 26 cd's.

I know 6,000+ of my stint in New Orleans, probably around 11,000+ of my time in Cali, who knows how many from Oregon. Not to mention Door County and stuff around here.

I can't even count how many negatives, 2 shoe boxes, lol. I've been at this awhile ;)

I got serious about photography on 2011. Before that was just taking photos of random things, not caring if they turned out good or not.
But I am surprised I can take that many photos in just seven months... Blew my mind! haha!

Haha! I put all my folders into one big folder and I clicked properties - it gave me the folder count and the photograph count... I am so glad I didn't have to do it folder by folder by folder!!! Haha!!
