Exclamation I need help! Any singers out there?

I really enjoy singing, but I'm really not good at it. I absolutely can NOT hit high notes without my voice cracking unless I get quieter. I want to be able to hit high notes without that happening and without having to get quiet. Is there any way I can stop my voice from cracking?

I'm not a singer really myself. I have however, been in choirs and my father was a choir director and I would tag along and watch. There are specific warm ups and exercises you can do to help strengthen your voice and help you hit more notes. I can't specificly explain them well via internet, so I would recomend taking some voice lessons. They can help a lot and voice teachers will know how to help you.

Well here is a warm up
You go 1,1 2 1, 1 2 3 2 until you reach 10 and each time you go UP a number, you hit I higher note. When you go DOWN a note, you hit a lower note

Hope that works!
