My DH has been using Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish in anticipation of a cycling trip to Chile in January. He says it's working for him pretty well actually.

    Why won't it install?

I've found: finding and religiously watching a Spanish tv show worked for me much better than ANY class I ever had. Somewhere I read that it takes a number of hours listening to a language to become fluent. Anyway tv is the way to go IMO as long as you've had rudimentary lessons.
I once had a bf that learned English watching Disney movies

Do you have enough available memory? Is it the right 'type'? I.e. PC version vs. Mac?

    What does the error say?

I was told it would configure to both mac and/or pc... I have tried both. I tried it on my pc labtop first then it came upw ith error like disc not found but hardware installed..
Then I tried my sisters mac and it gave me the same error...
Both say hardware is installed but when I move to the next step the hardware is not installed... I tried calling customer service they had no idea. So I am trying ot figure out what the problem is.

Hmmmm...that does seem strange. And really strange customer service can't help. Do you have an IT guy at work? Ours are amazing at helping with non-work related issues. :)
