Talking Modeling!

I'm pretty excited and since it has to do with horses, who better to tell than you all on HF!

So, my friend Erin contacted me the other day and asked me if I would model for her. Since I've done it before and have always had a blast working with her I said yes.
We are doing a "Lost Love" theme. It's going to be a Victorian era theme with modern day twisted into it. The best thing about it? I GET TO MODEL WITH THE HORSES I WORK WITH.

The basic layout is I'm going to be a princess with my trusty steed in a woodland setting looking for my lost love, my prince! I get my hair, make up and wardrobe done. The works. It's so exciting. It's scheduled for the end of this month so I'll be sure to post pictures once I am finished.

It's going to be a long day though. Last time it took 8 hours and 2000+ pictures to finish off the set.

Here is an example of her work:

We did a Marilyn Monroe-esq type theme except the opposite. Blue dress instead of white, black hair instead of blonde. This was back in February and it was VERY VERY cold.

With hair, mua, and wardrobe... You better be getting paid, especially if she is looking at 8 hours...

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.

I used to model, but to be completely honest with you, I felt like a doll.. Not the nice kind of doll that people put on a fancy stand, either. I felt like a doll that somebody's little brother got a hold of..

Now I just do resume shots. I think acting is better.

You're super lucky to have modeled for your friend, though! (:
