Music- favorite, and do you play and instrument?

I love punkrock/alternative rock, my favourite band in the hole wide world is SUM 41!!! They have so many AWSOME songs and they have AWSOME conserts!!!!<333 and the lead singer (deryck whibley) is the cutest guy i've ever seen<3 and I like linkin park aswell, they're kinda awsome too<33 and I don't play any instrument :P

I've been playing guitar for eight odd years.

I can't really play anything except a tune that sounds like crap. :p

I play guitar and have been for about 2 and a half years now, I played piano when I was younger but never really enjoyed it much, and played clarinet through middle school.
I listen to a lot of alternative rock, contemporary and adult contemporary Christian music...Kutless is my favorite band of all time.

All my family is very musical. As a kid, I was forced to play the piano for a year. Now I do enjoy it and had started to play it again but stopped when I ran out of time to do it.

I am looking into possibly doing it again.

I'm a vocalist. I started taking voice lessons in college about a year and a half ago and discovered I had a really good voice once I learned how to work it. And yes, voice is totally an instrument, and IMO, it's the hardest one, because you have to learn to hear when you're on key, and if something messes up, there's no one to blame but yourself.
As for music...I listen to pretty much everything. Don't like screamer or rap though. I've got my laptop playing right now and it's got 50s doowop, modern Christian, Broadway, country, alternative...pretty much everything!

I am lucky to be a violinist (6th chair out of 50some) in the best high school in the state. We play professional level music and do paid gigs as often as possible. Colleges are jealous of us =] My fav bands include Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, We The Kings, Evan Taubenfeld, This Providence, Let's Get It, Metro Station, My Chemical Romance, The Hush Sound, Coldplay, Pink, The Fray and Owl City. That is a VERY partial list
