Well I've got just over 1300 words written so far and I'm definitely going to try to make it to a few write ins if I can.

Good luck drafty! I'm an avid reader but haven't ever tried to write. I'll gladly read anything you all write though

Nice! I don't know of any write-ins held in my area (and the site is down...great).

I finished up just over 1400 words last night, which is a heck of a lot better than last year, when I didn't get more than 1600 words the whole month! Lol

MHFQ, I need a proof-reader.

Gah! I'm only 1481 words in and I'm already stuck. It's not that I don't know what's going to happen next...I'm just not sure how to get around this one little part. I need to kind of skim over what happens at this part to make it seem like it wasn't important enough to remember what happened, or that later events were so traumatic/emotional/whatever that the main character doesn't remember them (at least not clearly). BAH!

I'm hitting the same problem but I think what I might do is write a later chapter so then I know where I went to end up and can fill in the gap.

I've done that with my big novel project I'm working on. Problem with this one is that I just need a one (maybe two) paragraph bridge, so it's kind of hard to skip. Lol

I added you as a writing buddy, IslandWave. I'm such a slacker...I haven't written since the last time I posted on here. :-/

If you can get to a write in then go! I went to one tonight and I've had so much fun and I got over 2000 words written tonight!

Just checked the site...yeah, nearest write in to me is two hours away. Not only will my truck not make it that far, but I don't have the time to drive four hours round trip just to write.
