Bit far lol. Mine was about an hour by bus now there's a load of roadworks and wasn't a sign of rain all day then a little bit of spitting as I get into town then when I come out of the write in and it's absolutely hammering down and smartie here didn't take a rain coat. Could have skipped my shower so I think as revenge that is going to happen to my MC who I've just realised is Gollum/Smeagol in human form and a lot more vicious.

I'm close enough to make it to a write-in this year just been too lazy and busy writing! XP The novel's going a little slower, plot-wise, than I'd like, but at least I'm hitting my daily word count for the most part... Just wanted to add a shoutout of encouragement to you guys! You can do it! When all else fails, add a horse to the scene!

We're nearing the final stretch! How are you guys doing with the word count?
I've come to realize that my novel will be much longer than 50k. It scares me bacuse I don't know if I will have the motivation to keep writing once NaNo is over and done with. =/

I'm just over 8500. I've simply been too tired now I've gone back to work to write or think straight. 12-14 hour days just aren't suitable for writing productively.

I'm have stagnated in my writing. In all honesty, with everything going on this month and how quickly the month flew by, I completely forgot about NaNoWriMo for a while.

I think we should keep this thread going after NaNoWriMo is over to encourage each other to write.

Oh man, yeah that would kill my writing, too, Lis. I know the main reason I can write with my work schedule is because things slow down with the end of show season and with winter approaching.

Yes, let's keep up a little support group, Drafty! I'm all for that idea.

I was doing good until about a week ago, but I've been stuck and even getting 500-1000 words has been torture. Oh well - I will still work on this book over the next couple months.

I think my biggest problem right now is that I had yet ANOTHER story idea and it's kind of taken off. Lol I'm awful about that!

    Well, I did it! =D
Now to write the rest and actually finish it... I'm not known for keeping up with the novel once NaNoWriMo is over so we'll see how this goes.

I'm going to try to keep going. I did do a bit while I travelled back to work. Taken a couple of nasty falls recently so my mind is really out of sorts at the moment.
