I really enjoy photography a lot and have gotten pretty involved with it in the past year or so. Most of these pictures haven't been edited yet but they might be fun to look at

Oh wow! You're good! I'm not sure why they need to be edited. They look amazing!
Do you ever do any freelance work or anything else photog specific?

Whipple, I haven't done any freelance work yet. I don't really know how to get started. The only thing I have done is enter a couple of my pictures in art shows. One of mine was sold and I won a $100 prize, but I haven't sold any. I guess I didn't think people would like them enough to buy them

Well you can contact magazines to see if they're looking for freelancers. Otherwise I have no idea. You can even try making postcards and greeting cards and selling online, like a site like etsy for example.

Nice!! You're shooting with a Nikon, arent ya? I have a D60. You've got an eye for this... keep it up. If you have any questions on starting a photography business, feel free to ask =)

Whipple- Thanks for the suggestions, I think I will ask around the little businesses we have in town here and see if they will sell some of my pictures. And the postcard idea is really good. Thanks!

BackInTheSaddleAgain- Yes I am shooting with a D40, I love it! Do you really think I could start a small business out of these? (Well I do have more of course). But do you think people would want to buy pictures like these? Oh and please critique anything you think I could improve on!

Hey, I will reply to your PM tomorrow. I gotta run to bed! I do want to comment that the last photo is fantastic. Very nice.

What type of camera are you using? Also, please look into getting a FlickR account.

Free accounts only allow 200 photos but they don't compromise the quality of the imagines like photobucket does.
