My mom has one and I love it but it's a ford and husband won't let me have one. So I'm going to get the equinox... maybe next summer.... Have to pay the Dually off first...

I wish... at this time no truck or trailer :( hopefully that will change at some point. Until then if I have to go to a show a friend will prob help me out because my Petey wont fit in most trailers lol and Swoop is too long haha

I have always had bigger horses. A lot of people around here prefer 13-14hh horses. My mom's paint 16hh PURE muscle. Fitting two horses in a two horse would just be too tight for my guys. Indy is still growing, but my mom's paint is his father. My old mare is really long, so a stock trailer works best for me. Plus we have cows, and you can haul any animal in it, lol. Horses like stock trailers better, as there is more room to see anyway and they generally load easy in them.

Here's my rig:

A Dodge 2500, Cummins engine, and the 3-horse slant (minus dividers) Sundowner. The fact that they match is a complete coincidence.
Oh, and the old trailer is further in the background. It's the big black behemoth. But dad put a hole in the floor trying to haul tractors in it, so now it's just a hay wagon.

And just the truck~

We have a little red bumper-pull stock trailer, too, but I don't have any pictures. We don't use it much anymore, but dad still hauls cattle in it from time to time, and sometimes if I'm just hauling one horse on a nice day I'll take it instead, and haul it behind either that Dodge above, or one of these:

(Dodge 1500)

(Dodge Dakota)

(The old 'frankentruck' -- a mash-up of parts from 80-something Dodge Rams.)

I have a little blue 09 Ranger. The sales guy didnt even know how much it could pull. My dad knew more about the truck then he did. I wanted white to match my trailer but I couldnt find a white 09 ranger anywere!!

It tows my little two horse cotner very nicely, but I don't think I could put two full sized horses plus tack in there and still not strain the engine. Good thing my dad has a 1500 ram and an expedition that I can use.
