Digital by far. You can get sharper photos with today's DSLR than you can with medium format film cameras. Digital does not fade!!! You can get instant results with digital and know your image came out. You can do things with digital image that you just can't do with film. Having spent at least 20 years in the darkroom, I don't miss it at all! The image below is entitled "Letting Go." Try doing that with film - just let go of it!

    Haha can I say both?

My high school has a photography class. At first everyone has to use film and then people can choose digital later. I have a nice digital camera that I love to death but I also really like film now! At first, I hated having to actually (omg) [I]wait[I] to see how the picture came out. But since our photography class has a dark room and we develop it all ourselves, I really enjoyed spending an hour or so in the dark room. So, I like both! :)

I think a lot of people prefer digital simply because it is easier and let's just say "hassle free".....You point and shoot, then upload your photos. But with film, you have to take the extra time to process and see how your film came out. I love the looks of both, but I prefer film. I like the satisfaction after processing your film and seeing how they came out, especially when you have good photos to work with. :)
