The ribbon would have been better nut the nerve damage from my venemous snake encounter caused my leg to keep twitching when the needle was going in...

I think the worst problem with the ribbon tattoo is the size and placement, the skin on the foot is replaced 20x more than on most other parts on the body so its going to turn into an unrecognizable blob in a few years.

Also its pretty small and that does not help any, when in doubt always go bigger.

I think it is fine, my mother has the same sized tattoo on her foot in the same place and has had it for 20+years and hers is still clear and bright...

I like my tattoo, it means a lot to me and is my reminder of two very big catastrophic events in my life, even if somehow it does turn into a big blob, I will still know what it was and why it was there.

But thanks for your opinion, always appreciated!

I've seen plenty of foot tattoos that are FINE - it's all dependant on the skill of the artist and the aftercare.

I have always wanted a tattoo, might get one once I'm over the age of 18 if I'm not to chicken. I have always wanted to get a paw print on my stomach (near the hip area) or a hibiscus. Something little...

I really want to get a tattoo in remembrance of Samson but I can't find a single thing that resembles a haflinger and I'm really worried about someone screwing it up. I'm thinking I might just get a basic black outline. Its hard to mess that up LOL

Okay so my choices so far. Which ones do you like best or should I keep looking?

1.

2.

3.

Personally I like 2 and 3. I'm so undecided though =/

LOVE your tattoo. I think I want to get the Chinese symbol for horse on the back of my neck (1990--my birth year) but not quite as big.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of the widows though. Its really hard to get the right artist when doing real life looking things. I think I'll stick with more of the tribal look. Its harder to mess those up lol
