    Morning Bedouin,

It's been some time since you came online, been busy?

Yes! That is the reason I said to you to use some templates to improve your skills on, however it is not necessary. I have seen far worst websites before and some were hilariously funny looking sites.

However in your case it is just a matter of code alterations and nothing else.

I am sure if you have more interest in web designing and have some time to spend on fixing some issues, you'll be able to do it.

Just remember, Never Ever Give up! That is what I have learnt from my experience

    Regards

Oh I am here, at this forum, for quick looks, right now I am preparing my trip into the sahara and giving responses to those who are interested in the trek right now 4 women are joining me and another trek will leave in februari, but that is another off-topic subject! I will write a piece for my journal. The month of december you will have to hunt carrots without bedouin who will be forgetting all about websitecodes, but will be eating sand and riding Omar!

Hey Jahanzeb! Im back and I have a few questions! I am currently working on a website and I need some help.
I'm using Dreamweaver 8 for my web designing and I have banners and logos I made up on Photoshop. Problem is, I need a nice template that will bring the page together and will be easy to work with. I took a look at freecsstemplates.org like you told me to. And I found a few I like. The issue with that is I cannot work outside the coding... there is not layout form for me to use and it is really difficult.
Is there any way you can point me in the right direction??
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays!

Hello, can you show me the banner or atleast the colours you are using? You can PM me if you don't want to post the banner or screenshots here.

What templates did you like (use) from the site? I can find you more free css links for you to check it out, however they all be useless until I see what exactly your needs are.

    Do let me know

Oh and Happy Holidays to you too

    Regards

This is the main banner I made up for it.

You can take a look at the site: Welcome to ABS
I HATE what I have started up there... My mom wants it plain and business-like but I think it need SOMEthing to catch your eye...

I just really want to learn how to navigate well with CSS and Dreamweaver 8 and not feel like such an idiot when I'm using it.

I have like 5 more people that want me to do websites, which is awesome given the fact I need the money badly but not if it is going to be this frustrating! LOL

    Thanks for everything!

I don't think its a bad start though I would rather use a PNG format on the header. Additionally I would set the header under CSS coding instead of cutting and pasting onto the web page.

Additionally the orientation of the web page should be set to "middle" as when I open my browser the page goes all over the place (right or left orientation is not a good start).

There is no problem with the background colour, it just need bit of adjustments and nothing else.

Overall the site is quite good however to make it look catchy you got to integrate your header into CSS coding.

That is the reason why I asked you to use one of the already made templates because it is going to be easier to learn that way.

Oh and don't put "major" on your web page. It doesn't sound good. Instead use more of formal grammatically correct words. After all websites are there to read....unless you want to add flash on it?

I will check it thoroughly later, now going for lunch. Oh and what is the nature of the business? If you don't mind me asking because by looking at it, it feels like a holiday resort business?

Do let me know further progress on it and if need any help.

Oh and hey NICE JOB!! Keep it up!

    Regards

I use my Mac to run my websites. A lot easier and fairly easy and quick to change thing around on it. The main program is on my computers so between that, the internet and my Apple account I have ++ room to put together multiple sites

    Get linked

    Hello dear Horseforumfriends,
I am so sorry for my absence, but I was only working at my website, changed the whole site from html into css all thanks to a free template! And it looks a much better than before!
It works even faster than before!
The best thing to do to gain credibility for your own site is to get linked to the best searchengines and the pages where they 'collect' links for the bussiness you are in. Your ranking in the engines will raise even more.
I put a lot of energy into it, so perhaps you like to copy the links on my getting linked page. Or perhaps you can give me soem good adresses.
Sometimes they even give you space to create a page at theirs.
Another idea: write first your title and your content in 250 or 300 letters, sometimes 1000. And copy paste afterwards. When you are into it you certainly need it, you will understand, while doing.
A big hug for Jehanzeb for all the help and keep riding! Jihaaa!
