I'm reading The Montanna Creeds: Dylan (It's a romance... but I like it!)

Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"

i read anything by Phillipa Gregory. Her newest book, The Other Queen, was fantastic!

In general, i'm mad for historical fiction and fantasy (i.e. Lord of the Rings etc)

I'm done... need a new book... any suggestions? I like modern day cowboys and light romances maybe even some mystery (I'm not big into the dirty sex scenes)...

Try something by Jeffery Deaver, John Saul, Greg Isles, Dean Koontz, Ian Rankin, Anne Rice....
NONE of which meets your criteria but they are all wicked good authors.
