Does anyone out there write poetry, books, short stories, or children's books??
My sister and I are good writers! ;) We write lots of stuff.

I write! Mostly stories (I do book reviews as well) for my siblings, I enjoy writing it as much as they enjoy reading it!! Lol!

I write poems and sometimes short stories when I feel like it - but my strong point is poetry!
Personally, I HATE rhyming poems - it drives me crazy when there is rhyming or repeating a lot. I still read it - but it drives me nuts - a pet peeve of mine.

I write. Sometimes. Lol. I have a novel I'm working on at the moment, but I've got ridiculous writer's block.

I have started writing three books - only one I still have but I don't know if this one is going to get finished either, haha! My first two aren't getting finished because they won't be good, but this one I have now I actually had to write a short story for english and it was really long - so that could be like a piece for the middle of my book, hehe!!

I write. A little poetry, a lot of blogging, and tons of short 'essays' on whatever topic I feel like voicing an opinion about.

I'm not much of a creative writer. I have tried to write short stories/novels, but I gave up on that. Instead, I blog and write essays/articles mostly. I'm thinking about doing some freelance writing.

I enjoy writing short stories, mostly about horses, I have a certain style I like to write in, without much talking, like:
His hoof knuckled the corner of the cone, I looked down and held my breathe, the cone toppled over. I leaned back and brought my horse to a halt, then swung my leg over and jumped out of the saddle. I walked over to the cone, muttering angery remarks to myself, for this was the third cone I knocked over in this lesson!

Its terrible I know, I'm tired from riding today and my minds in no mood to write.

Dialogue is fun. You can add a lot of character simply through how they speak, plus it's fun to write.
