bump in the sole

okay I havent taken a pictures which I know would be best to see it in order to know what I am talking about. I will try to explain and answer any and all questions that I can. There is a bump in my horses sole at the tow rigion, it stretches from one side to the other. Is this sole that is not being worn down naturally?

probably sole trying to build up, or coffin bone is on too steep of an angle, or coffin bone is sinking in hoof capsule. Hard to say though unless you could get some pictures, but not likely that the sole is not wearing enough.

Yep, you're right, we need pics. Taken on a variety of angles, to give an idea of depth is helpful too. But basically it sounds like Makoda's guesses are in the right ballpark.
