Exclamation Farrier needed in Madison, WI

My friend is in need of a new farrier asap. She is located in the Madison, WI area. Preferably someone who can fix a foundered horse. Also battling thrush. And someone who will explain hoof care and what is going on.

If you know of anyone who is very good or any way for me to find one for her let me know please.

Thank you.

I believe we found her a good one. Last I heard he was working with the vet with the xrays.

Thats great, I am glad she found a good farrier. I am very busy always but I won't turn down a horse in trouble. I specialize in emergency and severe cases, I am also the farrier for the Humane society in Dane county.

I think she used **** ****. He was recommended by someone on facebook. I'm not sure if she is still using him as she was moving her horse closer to base with her while she's in training. But that is only for a few months.

Couldn't be worse than the first one she had. Who would you recommend? At least he was willing to look at xrays. First guy never told her about thrush and her frogs were almost completely eaten away. And the trim was just aweful just a few weeks out. And never recommended a shorter trim cycle until they got it under control.

Oh and why don't you like him? You can pm me incase we aren't supposed to put those things here.
