Awesome work! I have enjoyed lurking and learning on all of your posts Mark! I was wondering, I don't think I ever saw it mentioned- will she grow up to be a fully sound and rideable horse in regards to her feet, or just a happy and pretty pasture ornament? Anyhoo, that was all! :) Continue on, I certainly enjoy learning all I can from everyone's posts! :P

Amazing, Mark. As bad off as she was in the beginning, I would have thought it'd take a lot longer before you would be able to completely remove her shoes. Great work!

My best guess is that this foal will grow with some semblance of normalcy and probably be able to perform within reasonable limits. I don't think you'll see her at Rolex.

My concern now is less limb oriented and more with regard long term hoof comformation. Under-run heels would seem a likely probability. Truth is, it's anyone's guess in cases like this and we'll just have to wait and see how she turns out.

    Cheers,
    Mark

That is good to hear that she should grow up to be relatively normal. She can always come and live with us- we like cute horses and I am sure we aren't ever going to make it to Rolex. :P
