  • Shoud I put hoof dressing on my horses hoof or not?

Hey just a qwick question, my horse has a small crack in his hoof, should I be worried? Its about a cm long but not that deep.

I would make sure your horse is getting shod regularly. If he is barefoot it might be a little problem if you let it go for months and months and months since theres no shoe there to protect his foot. Before the horse I ride was shod, he feet were chipped a little cracked and EXTREMELY dry. All four of his hooves are white so I just put hoof dressing on all them to keep them healthy moist and not cracking and dry.
