Hoof conditioner

What's the benefit of using hoof conditioner? And how do you know if your horse needs it? Same with hoof sealant.

Hoof conditioners are helpful if you have a horse who's hoof's are chipping or cracking, they act the same as hand cream for us. They can also help build a thicker wall which will hold a shoe better.

As well, feeding hoof growth supplements, like Farrier's Formual can do the same. ( health from the inside out)

Hoof sealants are often applied by your farrier after he has taken a rasp to the outside of the hoof.

Your farrier would be your best source of information for your particular horse.
