WE have always used Fiebings mixed with Contender, and have always had extremely healthy hooves. We put it on the horses hooves every 3rd day. It helps keep the hoof wall healthy, solid, with out letting them get real dry and chippy. I know we have our own things, but this has worked for us for years and years.
