How am I doing? Trim critique please :D

So I decided to trim my 2 horses hooves starting 1 month ago. I think I've been doing well, but it's nice ( and much appreciated ) to have some more experienced input. I'm including the starting pics from 1 month ago, which were taken 10 or 11 days after my farrier was out to trim. I've "trimmed" 3 times now ( 1 month ago, 2 weeks ago, today ), just basically tuning them up and sharpening up the roll.

I will probably be picking up some boots for Nugget, as his fronts are a little more tender then usual on gravel right now. He was always touchy with gravel, so I'm hoping eventually that may get better. To me his frogs are looking better, and the overall shape seems good, but any thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance!

......also, I've had one person comment ( quite adamantly! ) that his hooves are way too short, second opinions are welcome :P

My computer gets stubborn sometimes & it's not loading all the pics. So bearing in mind I can only see a few, seems you're doing pretty well. Looks like you're addressing the flared toes well. I'd possibly start a bevel on the stretched toes a tad further back, maybe you don't need to do such a strong bevel/roll at the quarters, maybe heels could afford a tad more, but they all maybes & being picky....

Awww :( I saw that you posted while I was on the hoof care forums and I was all "yay! Loosie is super smart! I wonder what she said..." stupid computer for messing up your picture viewing

For what you could comment on, I'll keep it all in mind, and thanks! But I hope your computer will sort itself out so you can see all the pics
