When Rigo came home he had been barefoot up front for only about 4 weeks; was always barefoot behind. He was actually foot sore, his hooves were too short and they were all chipped up. I had my farrier put glue on shoes in front and Rigo was able to hold regular shoes behind.
6 weeks and 5 days later Rigo got his feet trimmed and reshod, all around, with regular shoes..the change in his hoof condition was great. Not sure if the glue acted as filler on the front but his feet look normal again. What made me even happier is that there is no sign of ouchiness due to regular shoes being nailed on in front.
