Thanks! I appreciate the help!
I never apply anything to her hooves, except for spraying the soles+frogs with Apple Cider Vinegar after I clean her hooves (twice a week, max) to help combat thrush (thrush is basically a never ending battle here due to the climate - it's been better since I've been using ACV). I totally agree about hoof dressings!
I'm thinking this probably happened becuase we had a really dry spell for 3 weeks in the beginning of May, then torrential rains for a week and a half when Lacey just stood around in her shelter (she was dead lame right after this week week), and now it's been dry again for about a week. During the wetness, Lacey's frogs got really...swollen looking (I thought she might shed them, she did not). Once it dried up again, they went right back to normal. Until this.
I'll keep an eye out for more. I hope she doesn't have more brewing!
