    I can tell you now - think OP could too, without even needing pix that this horse can't go barefoot. But that's not to say conventional rims are a good option in this case.

    I'm not trying to say that she can or should go barefoot. I'm just offering her an option of a different trimmer in the area if she is not happy with hers.

    Her mare needs some sort of protection. Boots could do the trick.
