I've never had the thrush stick around with ToMorrow. It's technically for use on cows udders, but it is amazing for thrush.

I can get rid of any thrush with Dawn Dish soap scrubbing and dry loafing areas with a proper trim. Clean and dry is important along with a good trim. I also like thrushbuster and no thrush if I want an OTC remedy.

Second the "good trim" comment. I was fighting thrush for awhile and when I got a new farrier, the thrush "magically" went away... : )

Pete Ramey's recommendation is to use a triple antibiotic and anti fungal cream mixed together and loaded into a catheter syringe. This enables the cream to get deep into the commissures. He also recommends a soak in Pinesol mixed for regular household cleaning and no stronger for 20 min 2x daily. Dry the hoof then apply the cream.

I thought I read somewhere about Borax? Putting that on the soles when dry. I could be wrong. Has anyone else heard that?

People soak in Borax solution. This and lysol etc is just cleaning the foot. Soap and water will do the same thing. Im telling you guys, Dawn water in a spray bottle. No need to rise the soap off just use the soapy water to scrub and rinse the crud away in all the cracks and crevices. Im always amazed when I see people treat filthy frogs for thrush but don't actually WASH the frog clean first. Would you medicate your foot without washing it of dirt and germs first?
