Just wanted to update you-- I took a look at our leopard appaloosas legs today- he's got solid legs (no socks) definitely don't got mottling on the legs at all- he's got dark hooves with a lighter color as the stripes.

Green Broke
I don't know what that is. It looks like there might be a secondary infection on top of the original problem. You are probably going to need something prescription to get rid of it either steroids or antibiotics.

Couldn't get the vet out today but she is moving perfectly and I prodded around with my hoof pick a little and she showed no pain. I will get in touch with the vet tomorrow though and have him look at her. I looked at her legs today and they are not red like the pictures at all and the spots are not bumpy and do not have scabs or lesions that I can feel. I will hopefully post some more news tomorrow after I can get a vet's opinions.

Had the vet out friday he said probably blew an abcess out and that there is a little bit of thrush. I have been soaking her feet everyday and she is doing good. I showed him her skin above her hoof and he said no problems there just her natural color. The. Pics made it look a lot worse than it actually does. Just haven't had time to give you guys an update I have been working double time all week basically haha.
