Riley finds it hard to balance on three feet? Can you go into more detail? It's quite curious I am about that.
Well, as the farrier put it 'he's 7 years old, his body has now stopped growing and his brain is starting to come in now'.
He's a big boy, and he is currently overweight and under exercised. I am very confident that when I have started to work him in the spring including ground pole work, he will build muscle, and leg co-ordination and brain, and be easier for the farrier to handle. His hooves will never get less iron-like, but he will be better at holding his legs out where the farrier needs them to be.
Get up, get going, seize the day. Enjoy the sunshine, the rain, cloudy days, snowstorms, and thunder. Getting on your horse is always worth the effort.
