Andalusian stallion

For some reason, charcoal is very popular at the moment - 80% of my horse portraits are commissioned in this medium. Fine by me - I love charcoal.
Here's the latest one - an Andalusian stallion (size A3). Hope you like him.

The only thing that nerves me is the neck LOL, I've always had a fettish when doing them, his looks abit to thick at the top. But that's just me.

@Twister: I know what you mean but this stallion has got an unusually thick neck - kind of his 'trademark' and the owner chose this reference photo particularly to make sure it really shows. ;)
