Question Art critique please (variety of animals)

    Hi,

I was hoping that someone on here would have some advise for my drawings, most are done with sketching pencils, but the horse was my first attempt at soft pastels (i was inspired by some of the art on here) but it kinda flopped drastically in my opinion.

ANy tips??? Anything would be appreciated

Thanks I actually hadnt drawn anything until the beginning of this year for almost 4 years!!! I decided to start again when I was on a plane to the US (going skiing) and the first one is what I came up with).

Im quite pleased with it, but think it almost looks unfinished but am too afraid if I do anymore ill ruin it :S

Just thought I'd share - im a bit of a freak and hate not being good at things so have enrolled in a couple of art classes at the community college

Should be fun at the very least!

    new horse

The most recent horse I did (the ******ed one) was really getting to me, so today I decided to do another one.

This one is charcoal Some of the muscles arent exactly spot on, but im happier with this one in general!
